The Fort Defiance Indians ran past the host Rockbridge County Wildcats basketball team by a final score of 44-34 in Friday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Indians confront the Broadway Gobblers (Broadway, VA) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, December 13. Fort Defiance will attempt to improve on its 2-2 season record. The Gobblers come into the battle with a 0-1 record after their 60-12 non-league loss to Staunton (Staunton, VA).
The Wildcats (1-3) will now prepare for their battle against Stuarts Draft (Stuarts Draft, VA). The Cougars come into the non-league battle with a 2-2 record. In their last battle, Stuarts Draft beat Strasburg (Strasburg, VA), 37-24, in a non-league battle.
