The Freedom Patriots (Morganton, NC) basketball knocked off the visiting Patton Panthers (Morganton, NC), 73-65 in Friday's non-league test.
The Patriots (2-4) will now prepare for their test against East Burke (Connelly Springs, NC). The Cavaliers go into the non-league outing with a 2-2 record. In their last outing, East Burke defeated Draughn (Valdese, NC), 42-40, in a non-league outing.
The Panthers now hold a 3-3 record. They play next when they host Draughn for a non-league outing on Wednesday, December 14.
