North Carolina High School Basketball - Gray's Creek nips Purnell Swett

Gray's Creek Bears (Hope Mills, NC) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Purnell Swett Rams (Pembroke, NC), 49-48 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Gray's Creek upgrades its record to 3-1 on the season. The Bears travel to Seventy-First (Fayetteville, NC) to play the Falcons in a non-league bout on Friday, December 16. The Falcons go into the bout with a record of 3-1. Seventy-First won 52-46 in their recent league bout against South View (Hope Mills, NC)

Next up, the Rams play the Jack Britt Buccaneers (Fayetteville, NC) in a bout, on Tuesday, January 3. Purnell Swett will attempt to upgrade on its 0-6 season record.
