The Kennedy Cougars basketball team scored 62 points and restricted the visiting McClatchy Lions to 51 in the Cougars non-league victory on Friday.

The Cougars now sport a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fortune Early College for a non-league contest on Monday, December 12.

The Lions (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Laguna Creek (Elk Grove, CA). The Cardinals come into the non-league contest with a 3-3 record. In their last contest, Laguna Creek dropped by Mountain House (Mountain House, CA), 72-65, in a non-league contest.
