McDowell Titans (Marion, NC) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting R-S Central Hilltoppers (Rutherfordton, NC), 43-12 in a non-league bout.

With the win, McDowell upgrades its record to 6-0 on the season. The Titans host T.C. Roberson (Asheville, NC) to clash with the Rams in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 13. The Rams go into the bout with a record of 1-2.

Next up, the Hilltoppers clash with the West Henderson Falcons (Hendersonville, NC) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 14. R-S Central will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record.
