North Carolina High School Basketball - North Brunswick topped by New Hanover

The New Hanover Wildcats basketball team scored 53 points and restricted the host North Brunswick Scorpions to 35 in the Wildcats non-league victory on Friday.
The Wildcats now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ashley for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 13. New Hanover will battle a Screaming Eagle team coming off a 47-24 non-league loss to Laney (Wilmington, NC). The Screaming Eagle record now stands at 1-2.
The Scorpions (3-2) will now prepare for their contest against Topsail (Hampstead, NC). The Pirates come into the non-league contest with a 3-3 record. In their last contest, Topsail dropped by South Brunswick (Southport, NC), 39-35, in a non-league contest.
