In Friday's non-league battle, the host Faith Christian Warriors soccer squad scored a close 3-0 triumph over the Coalinga Horned Toads.

The Warriors (1-0) will now prepare for their test against Roosevelt (Fresno, CA). The Rough Riders come into the non-league test with a 4-2 record. In their last test, Roosevelt got by Nipomo (Nipomo, CA), 3-1, in a non-league test.

With the loss, Coalinga drops to 2-7 on the season. The Horned toads travel to Sanger West (Fresno, CA) to meet the Hornets in a non-league test on Saturday, December 10.
