The United Golden Eagles (Hanoverton, OH) basketball knocked off the visiting Academy for Urban Scholars Hawks (Youngstown, OH), 58-43 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Golden Eagles (1-2) will now prepare for their test against Southern (Salineville, OH). The Indians go into the Eastern Ohio test with a 1-2 record. In their last test, Southern went down by Wellsville (Wellsville, OH), 62-46, in a league test.

The Hawks now own a 0-3 record. They play next when they travel to Aquinas for a non-league test on Saturday, December 16.
