Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Hardin-Jefferson Hawks (Sour Lake, TX) and the visiting Aransas Pass Panthers (Aransas Pass, TX), saw Hardin-Jefferson's basketball squad wallop Aransas Pass by a count of 79-52.

With the victory, Hardin-Jefferson upgrades its record to 8-6 on the campaign. The Hawks travel to West Fork (Kingwood, TX) to play the Gators in a 4A Region III District 20 challenge on Friday, December 15. The Gators come into the challenge with a record of 2-10. West Fork won 54-25 in their recent non-league challenge against Legacy Christian Academy (Beaumont, TX)

Next up, the Panthers play the Alice Coyotes (Alice, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 12. Aransas Pass will attempt to upgrade on its 5-10 season record. The Coyotes come into the challenge with a 10-5 record after their 50-49 non-league loss to Odem (Odem, TX).
