Jackson Jaguars (Atlanta, GA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Banneker Trojans (College Park, GA), 67-60 in a league bout.

With the win, Jackson upgrades its record to 7-0 on the season. The Jaguars travel to Discovery (Lawrenceville, GA) to play the Titans in a non-league bout on Friday, December 15. The Titans go into the bout with a record of 2-7.

Next up, the Trojans play the East Coweta Indians (Sharpsburg, GA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 12. Banneker will attempt to upgrade on its 4-4 season record. The Indians go into the bout with a 5-6 record after their 77-49 non-league loss to Sandy Creek (Tyrone, GA).
