Copan Hornets (Copan, OK) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Barnsdall Panthers (Barnsdall, OK), 44-40 in a league bout.

With the win, Copan upgrades its record to 8-0 on the season. The Hornets host Wesleyan Christian (Bartlesville, OK) to clash with the Mustangs in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 12. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 4-1. Wesleyan Christian lost 62-49 in their recent non-league bout against Hennessey (Hennessey, OK)

Next up, the Panthers clash with the Foyil Panthers (Foyil, OK) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 12. Barnsdall will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 4-4 record after their 38-34 non-league win over Prue (Prue, OK).
