Maine High School Basketball - Buckfield knocked off by Carrabec

The Carrabec Cobras basketball team scored 46 points and held the visiting Buckfield Bucks to 37 in the Cobras non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Cobras now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rangeley Lakes for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 12. Carrabec will battle a Lakers team coming off a 54-47 league loss to Greenville (Greenville, ME). The Lakers record now stands at 0-1.

The Bucks (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Vinalhaven (Vinalhaven, ME). The Vikings enter the D South contest with a 0-2 record. In their last contest, Vinalhaven was defeated by Forest Hills (Jackman, ME), 78-31, in a league contest.
