The Cheney Blackhawks basketball team scored 72 points and restricted the host Wenatchee Panthers to 24 in the Blackhawks non-league victory on Saturday.

The Blackhawks now sport a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lewis & Clark for a 2A/3A/4A Greater Spokane contest on Tuesday, December 12. Cheney will battle a Tigers team coming off a 55-33 league win over Central Valley (Spokane Valley, WA). The Tigers record now stands at 3-1.

The Panthers (0-4) will now prepare for their contest against Moses Lake (Moses Lake, WA). The Mavericks come into the 4A Columbia Basin Big-9 contest with a 1-4 record.
