The Holy Cross Academy Mustangs basketball team scored 66 points and restricted the visiting Christ the King Cathedral Golden Lions to 55 in the Mustangs non-league victory on Saturday.

The Mustangs now sport a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Christ the King Cathedral for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 9. Holy Cross Academy will battle a Golden Lions team coming off a 60-20 non-league win over Kelton (Wheeler, TX). The Golden Lions record now stands at 10-4.

The Golden Lions (11-6) will now prepare for their contest against Adrian (Adrian, TX). The Matadors come into the non-league contest with a 6-5 record. In their last contest, Adrian prevailed over Pringle-Morse (Morse, TX), 56-47, in a non-league contest.
