Williams Yellowjackets (Williams, CA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host CORE Butte Lynx (Chico, CA), 63-31 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Williams upgrades its record to 3-8 on the season. The Yellowjackets host Winters (Winters, CA) to clash with the Warriors in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 12. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 1-6. Winters lost 66-58 in their recent non-league bout against Dixon (Dixon, CA)

Next up, the Lynx clash with the Hayfork Timberjacks (Hayfork, CA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 13. CORE Butte will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record. The Timberjacks go into the bout with a 3-2 record after their 80-45 league win over Dunsmuir (Dunsmuir, CA).
