Cusick Panthers (Cusick, WA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Republic Tigers (Republic, WA), 76-19 in a league bout.

With the win, Cusick upgrades its record to 4-0 on the season. The Panthers host Selkirk (Ione, WA) to play the Rangers in a 1B Northeast bout on Tuesday, December 12. The Rangers go into the bout with a record of 0-5. Selkirk lost 62-42 in their recent league bout against Northport (Northport, WA)

Next up, the Tigers play the Curlew Cougars (Curlew, WA) in a 1B Northeast bout, on Tuesday, December 12. Republic will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record. The Cougars go into the bout with a 2-4 record after their 75-47 non-league loss to Oakesdale (Oakesdale, WA).
