The Laurel Locomotives (Laurel, MT) basketball nipped the visiting Custer County Cowboys (Miles City, MT), 50-46 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Locomotives (2-1) will now prepare for their test against Browning (Browning, MT). The Indians go into the non-league outing with a 1-1 record.

The Cowboys now hold a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to Loyola-Sacred Heart for a non-league outing on Friday, December 15.
