Kalani Falcons (Honolulu, HI) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Damien Monarchs (Honolulu, HI), 42-29 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Kalani upgrades its record to 5-3 on the season. The Falcons host Kalaheo (Kailua, HI) to clash with the Mustangs in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 23. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 4-12.

Next up, the Monarchs clash with the Campbell Sabers (Ewa Beach, HI) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 14. Damien will attempt to upgrade on its 0-7 season record. The Sabers go into the bout with a 4-6 record after their 60-59 non-league win over Moanalua (Honolulu, HI).
