The Lone Tree Lions basketball team scored 64 points and held the visiting English Valleys Bears to 28 in the Lions non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Lions now sport a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Louisa-Muscatine for a SEI - North contest on Tuesday, December 12. Lone Tree will meet a Falcons team coming off a 80-53 league loss to Mediapolis (Mediapolis, IA). The Falcons record now stands at 2-4.

The Bears (0-6) will now prepare for their contest against Tri-County (Thornburg, IA). The Trojans enter the South Iowa Cedar contest with a 0-5 record. In their last contest, Tri-County was routed by Keota (Keota, IA), 77-28, in a league contest.
