Sugar-Salem Diggers (Sugar City, ID) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Filer Wildcats (Filer, ID), 55-46 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Sugar-Salem upgrades its record to 1-1 on the season. The Diggers host Snake River (Blackfoot, ID) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 12. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 2-1. Snake River won 82-45 in their recent non-league bout against Buhl (Buhl, ID)

Next up, the Wildcats play the Wendell Trojans (Wendell, ID) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 12. Filer will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Trojans go into the bout with a 3-2 record after their 57-46 non-league loss to American Falls (American Falls, ID).
