The Grant County Braves basketball team (Dry Ridge, KY), was toppled 69-54 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Owen County Rebels (Owenton, KY)
The Rebels now possess a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Gallatin County for a District 31 battle on Tuesday, December 12. Owen County will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 67-45 non-league win over Collins (Shelbyville, KY). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-2.
The Braves (2-2) will now prepare for their battle against Oldham County (Buckner, KY). The Colonels come into the non-league battle with a 3-2 record. In their last battle, Oldham County beat Christian Academy-Louisville (Louisville, KY), 66-65, in a non-league battle.
