Shead Tigers (Eastport, ME) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Greenville Lakers (Greenville, ME), 71-30 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Shead upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Tigers host Woodland (Baileyville, ME) to play the Dragons in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 12. The Dragons go into the bout with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Lakers play the Bangor Christian Patriots (Bangor, ME) in a non-league bout, on Monday, December 11. Greenville will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Patriots go into the bout with a 1-0 record after their 77-45 league win over Stearns (Millinocket, ME).
