Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Hooks Hornets (Hooks, TX) and the host Hope Bobcats (Hope, AR), saw Hooks's basketball squad knock off Hope by a tally of 66-48.

With the victory, Hooks improves its record to 10-0 on the campaign. The Hornets travel to Pleasant Grove (Texarkana, TX) to play the Hawks in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 9. The Hawks come into the challenge with a record of 5-2. Pleasant Grove lost 81-58 in their recent non-league challenge against Idabel (Idabel, OK)

Next up, the Bobcats play the Ashdown Panthers (Ashdown, AR) in a 4A Region 7 challenge, on Tuesday, January 2. Hope will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record.
