Hueneme Vikings (Oxnard, CA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Villanova Prep Wildcats (Ojai, CA), 49-22 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Hueneme upgrades its record to 1-8 on the season. The Vikings travel to Nordhoff (Ojai, CA) to play the Rangers in a Citrus Coast bout on Tuesday, December 12. The Rangers go into the bout with a record of 0-9. Nordhoff lost 80-42 in their recent non-league challenge against Newbury Park (Newbury Park, CA)

Next up, the Wildcats confront the Newbury Park Adventist Gators (Newbury Park, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 14. Villanova Prep will attempt to improve on its 0-4 season record.
