Kaiser Cougars (Honolulu, HI) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Waialua Bulldogs (Waialua, HI), 46-42 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Kaiser upgrades its record to 2-6 on the campaign. The Cougars host Kalaheo (Kailua, HI) to play the Mustangs in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 12. The Mustangs come into the bout with a record of 3-11. Kalaheo won 64-55 in their recent non-league bout against Le Jardin Academy (Kailua, HI)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the 'Aiea Na Alii ('Aiea, HI) in a Oahu - West I bout, on Saturday, December 23. Waialua will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record. The Na Alii come into the bout with a 3-5 record after their 58-38 non-league loss to Seabury Hall (Makawao, HI).
