Lanai Pine Lads (Lanai City, HI) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Kihei Charter Tigersharks (Kihei, HI), 54-47 in a league bout.

With the win, Lanai upgrades its record to 2-2 on the season. The Pine Lads host Maui Prep (Napili, HI) to play the Pueo in a Maui II bout on Friday, December 22. The Pueo go into the bout with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Tigersharks play the Hana Dragons (Hana, HI) in a Maui II bout, on Friday, December 15. Kihei Charter will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Dragons go into the bout with a 0-2 record after their 66-17 league loss to Molokai (Hoolehua, HI).
