With the victory, Lamar upgrades its record to 8-7 on the campaign. The Texans host Westbury (Houston, TX) to play the Huskies in a 6A Region III District 18 bout on Saturday, December 16. The Huskies come into the bout with a record of 5-6. Westbury won 75-73 in their recent league bout against Chavez (Houston, TX)

The Wolves (7-5) will now prepare for their battle against Northbrook (Houston, TX). The Raiders come into the non-league battle with a 2-8 record. In their last battle, Northbrook was toppled by Northside (Houston, TX), 68-39, in a non-league battle.
