Georgia High School Basketball - Savannah Country Day knocked off by Long County

December 9, 2023: Ludowici, GA 31316

The Long County Blue Tide basketball team scored 69 points and held the visiting Savannah Country Day Hornets to 54 in the Blue Tide league triumph on Saturday.

The Blue Tide now sport a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Savannah Christian for a AAA Region 3 contest on Tuesday, December 12. Long County will battle a Raiders team coming off a 53-29 league loss to Beach (Savannah, GA). The Raiders record now stands at 4-2.

The Hornets (2-6) will now prepare for their contest against Monroe (Albany, GA). The Golden Tornadoes enter the non-league contest with a 3-2 record.
