The Taft Greyhounds basketball team scored 76 points and restricted the visiting Louise Hornets to 39 in the Greyhounds non-league victory on Saturday.

The Greyhounds now sport a 8-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Agua Dulce for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 12. Taft will battle a Longhorns team coming off a 54-46 non-league loss to Falfurrias (Falfurrias, TX). The Longhorns record now stands at 8-4.

The Hornets (0-10) will now prepare for their match against Fayetteville (Fayetteville, TX). The Lions enter the non-league match with a 10-3 record. In their last match, Fayetteville was ripped by Port Aransas (Port Aransas, TX), 57-36, in a non-league match.
