In Saturday's non-league outing, the Richland County Tigers (Olney, IL) basketball squad beat the visiting Mattoon Greenwave (Mattoon, IL), by a margin of 53-34.
The Tigers (7-1) will now prepare for their outing against Salem (Salem, IL). The Wildcats go into the non-league outing with a 2-7 record. In their last outing, Salem was beaten by Columbia (Columbia, IL), 44-40, in a league outing.
