In Saturday's non-league outing, the Southwest Roughriders (Bartley, NE) basketball squad beat the host Medicine Valley Raiders (Curtis, NE), by a margin of 49-37.

The Roughriders (2-3) will now prepare for their outing against Alma (Alma, NE). The Cardinals go into the non-league outing with a 5-0 record. In their last outing, Alma defeated Wilcox-Hildreth (Wilcox, NE), 48-32, in a non-league outing.
