North Platte Panthers (Dearborn, MO) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting West Platte Bluejays (Weston, MO), 49-45 in a league bout.

With the win, North Platte upgrades its record to 3-1 on the season. The Panthers travel to Mound City (Mound City, MO) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 12. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 1-4. Mound City won 60-54 in their recent non-league bout against North Andrew (Rosendale, MO)

Next up, the Bluejays play the North Platte Panthers (Dearborn, MO) in a KCI bout, on Friday, December 15. West Platte will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record.
