Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the West Point Warriors (Cullman, AL) and the visiting Pennington Tigers (Blountsville, AL), saw West Point's basketball squad wallop Pennington by a count of 68-29.

With the victory, West Point upgrades its record to 9-3 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Brewer (Somerville, AL) to play the Patriots in a 5A Area 15 challenge on Tuesday, December 12. The Patriots come into the challenge with a record of 3-8. Brewer lost 99-61 in their recent league challenge against Russellville (Russellville, AL)

Next up, the Tigers play the Susan Moore Bulldogs (Blountsville, AL) in a 3A Area 13 challenge, on Tuesday, December 12. Pennington will attempt to upgrade on its 5-7 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 5-3 record after their 50-47 league win over Vinemont (Vinemont, AL).
