Riggs Governors (Pierre, SD) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Rapid City Central Cobblers (Rapid City, SD), 53-43 in a league bout.
With the win, Riggs upgrades its record to 1-1 on the season. The Governors host Sturgis Brown (Sturgis, SD) to play the Scoopers in a AA bout on Friday, December 15. The Scoopers go into the bout with a record of 0-0.
Next up, the Cobblers play the Huron Tigers (Huron, SD) in a AA bout, on Friday, December 15. Rapid City Central will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record.
