The Richmond Bobcats (Richmond, ME) basketball nipped the host Valley Cavaliers (Bingham, ME), 49-48 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Bobcats (1-0) will now prepare for their test against Wiscasset (Wiscasset, ME). The Wolverines go into the non-league test with a 1-0 record. In their last test, Wiscasset got by Temple Academy (Waterville, ME), 58-56, in a league test.
The Cavaliers now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they host Mount Abram for a non-league test on Tuesday, December 12. Valley will encounter a Roadrunners squad coming off a 85-35 non-league win over Lisbon (Lisbon Falls, ME). The Roadrunners record now stands at 1-0.
