Virginia High School Basketball - Rise Academy trounces Walsingham Academy

The Rise Academy Guardians (Richmond, VA) basketball crushed the host Walsingham Academy Trojans (Williamsburg, VA), 71-39 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Guardians (6-2) will now prepare for their test against Peninsula Catholic (Newport News, VA). The Knights go into the non-league test with a 3-5 record. In their last test, Peninsula Catholic walloped Salem (Virginia Beach, VA), 58-47, in a non-league test.
The Trojans now own a 1-5 record. They play next when they travel to Tabb for a non-league test on Monday, December 11. Walsingham Academy will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 65-47 league loss to Grafton (Yorktown, VA). The Tigers record now stands at 1-2.
