Illinois High School Basketball - West Carroll ripped by Scales Mound

The Scales Mound Hornets basketball team scored 82 points and held the visiting West Carroll Thunder to 33 in the Hornets league triumph on Saturday.

The Hornets now sport a 8-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Dakota for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 12. Scales Mound will battle a Indians team coming off a 44-32 league win over Lena-Winslow (Lena, IL). The Indians record now stands at 4-4.

The Thunder (0-7) will now prepare for their contest against Orangeville (Orangeville, IL). The Broncos enter the non-league contest with a 2-5 record. In their last contest, Orangeville was routed by Fulton (Fulton, IL), 51-37, in a non-league contest.
