Ridgewood Generals (West Lafayette, OH) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Claymont Mustangs (Uhrichsville, OH), 48-45 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Ridgewood upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Generals travel to Sandy Valley (Magnolia, OH) to play the Cardinals in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 14. The Cardinals come into the bout with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Mustangs play the Indian Valley Braves (Gnadenhutten, OH) in a non-league bout, on Monday, December 11. Claymont will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record.
