The Clovis Wildcats basketball team scored 77 points and held the visiting Portales Rams to 22 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Wildcats now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Artesia for a contest on Thursday, January 11.

The Rams (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Goddard (Roswell, NM). The Rockets enter the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Goddard triumphed over Artesia (Artesia, NM), 49-47, in a league contest.
