Ware County Gators (Waycross, GA) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Coffee Trojans (Douglas, GA), 51-36 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Ware County upgrades its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Gators host Glynn Academy (Brunswick, GA) to play the Terrors in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 13. The Terrors come into the bout with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Trojans play the Tift County Blue Devils (Tifton, GA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 8. Coffee will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Blue Devils come into the bout with a 2-0 record after their 58-21 league win over Dougherty (Albany, GA).
