The Union Mine Diamondbacks basketball team (El Dorado, CA), was overwhelmed 84-45 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Del Oro Golden Eagles (Loomis, CA)
The Golden Eagles now possess a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Placer for a non-league battle on Tuesday, December 12. Del Oro will confront a Hillmen team coming off a 56-46 non-league win over Twelve Bridges (Lincoln, CA). The Hillmen record now stands at 1-5.
The Diamondbacks (6-2) will now prepare for their battle against Bear River (Grass Valley, CA). The Bruins come into the non-league battle with a 1-0 record.
