Texas High School Basketball - Sharpstown overwhelmed by Austin

The Austin Mustangs basketball team scored 34 points and restricted the visiting Sharpstown Apollos to 13 in the Mustangs league victory on Saturday.
The Mustangs now sport a 6-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Houston Math Science & Tech for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 12. Austin will battle a Tigers team coming off a 30-11 non-league win over Brazos (Wallis, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 9-4.
The Apollos (0-7) will now prepare for their contest against Milby (Houston, TX). The Buffs come into the 5A Region III District 19 contest with a 4-9 record. In their last contest, Milby was routed by Heights (Houston, TX), 48-24, in a non-league contest.
