In Saturday's league outing, the Benet Academy Redwings (Lisle, IL) basketball squad edged the host Carmel Corsairs (Mundelein, IL), by a margin of 28-24.

The Redwings (6-3) will now prepare for their outing against Nazareth Academy (LaGrange Park, IL). The Roadrunners go into the East Suburban Catholic outing with a 5-2 record. In their last outing, Nazareth Academy was tipped by Marian Catholic (Chicago Heights, IL), 39-36, in a league outing.

The Corsairs now own a 5-4 record. They play next when they travel to Rolling Meadows for a non-league outing on Tuesday, December 12. Carmel will clash with a Mustangs squad coming off a 43-42 league win over Prospect (Mt. Prospect, IL). The Mustangs record now stands at 9-1.
