Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Bishop Ireton Cardinals (Alexandria, VA) and the visiting Catholic Crusaders (Virginia Beach, VA), saw Bishop Ireton's basketball squad knock off Catholic by a count of 82-66.
With the victory, Bishop Ireton upgrades its record to 4-1 on the campaign. The Cardinals host Saint John Paul the Great Catholic (Dumfries, VA) to play the Wolves in a VISAA Division I challenge on Saturday, December 16. The Wolves come into the challenge with a record of 2-4.
Next up, the Crusaders play the Shabach Christian Academy Eagles (Landover, MD) in a non-league challenge, on Sunday, December 10. Catholic will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 4-2 record after their 66-60 non-league win over Southeastern Prep Academy - Regional - Aces (Orlando, FL).
