Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Bryan County Redskins (Pembroke, GA) and the host South Effingham Mustangs (Guyton, GA), saw Bryan County's basketball squad wallop South Effingham by a tally of 69-46.
With the victory, Bryan County improves its record to 5-0 on the campaign. The Redskins travel to Claxton (Claxton, GA) to confront the Tigers in a A D1 Region 3 challenge on Tuesday, December 12. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 0-6. Claxton lost 60-45 in their recent non-league challenge against Bulloch Academy (Statesboro, GA)
Next up, the Mustangs confront the Johnson Atomsmashers (Savannah, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 12. South Effingham will attempt to improve on its 2-6 season record. The Atomsmashers come into the challenge with a 2-2 record after their 62-44 league loss to Calvary Day (Savannah, GA).
