Oakwood Owls (North Hollywood, CA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Chatsworth Chancellors (Chatsworth, CA), 58-42 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Oakwood upgrades its record to 7-1 on the season. The Owls travel to Milken (Los Angeles, CA) to play the Wildcats in a Liberty bout on Wednesday, December 13. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 6-3.

Next up, the Chancellors play the Arleta Mustangs (Arleta, CA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, December 11. Chatsworth will attempt to upgrade on its 8-2 season record. The Mustangs go into the bout with a 4-4 record after their 81-7 league win over Monroe (North Hills, CA).
