Nebraska High School Basketball - Dundy County-Stratton trounced by Hitchcock County

December 9, 2023: Benkelman, NE 69021

In Saturday's league match, the visiting Hitchcock County Falcons basketball team scored a decisive 47-25 triumph over the Dundy County-Stratton Tigers.

In their next game, the Falcons face the Medicine Valley Raiders (Curtis, NE) in a D2 District 9 match, on Thursday, December 14. Hitchcock County will attempt to move on its 1-3 season record. The Raiders enter the match with a 1-4 record after their 44-37 non-league loss to Decatur Community (Oberlin, KS).

With the defeat, Dundy County-Stratton moves to 1-3 on the year. The Tigers host Rawlins County (Atwood, KS) to face the Buffaloes in a non-league match on Tuesday, December 12. The Buffaloes enter the match with a record of 3-1. Rawlins County won 43-42 in their recent non-league match against Quinter (Quinter, KS)
