The Dragons now sport a 9-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Joaquin for a 2A Region III District 23 battle on Tuesday, December 12. Shelbyville will battle a Rams team coming off a 55-32 non-league win over Overton (Overton, TX). The Rams record now stands at 8-4.
The Yellowjackets (4-17) will now prepare for their battle against West Rusk (New London, TX). The Raiders come into the 3A Region II District 16 battle with a 4-12 record. In their last battle, West Rusk was routed by Elysian Fields (Elysian Fields, TX), 44-32, in a non-league battle.
