The Lyons Lions (LaGrange, IL) basketball knocked off the host Hinsdale Central Red Devils (Hinsdale, IL), 70-53 in Saturday's league test.
The Lions (7-3) will now prepare for their test against Glenbard West (Glen Ellyn, IL). The Hilltoppers go into the West Suburban - Silver test with a 10-0 record. In their last test, Glenbard West notched a victory over Proviso West (Hillside, IL), 66-39, in a league test.
The Red Devils now own a 2-6 record. They play next when they host Downers Grove North for a West Suburban - Silver test on Tuesday, December 12. Hinsdale Central will encounter a Trojans squad coming off a 74-13 league win over Oak Park-River Forest (Oak Park, IL). The Trojans record now stands at 8-2.
