North Carolina High School Basketball - Marlboro County trounced by Scotland

December 9, 2023: Laurinburg, NC 28352

The Scotland Fighting Scots routed the visiting Marlboro County Bulldogs basketball team by a final score of 56-32 in Saturday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Fighting Scots face the Lumberton Pirates (Lumberton, NC) in a non-league game, on Monday, December 11. Scotland will attempt to move on its 5-1 season record. The Pirates enter the game with a 0-3 record after their 48-26 non-league loss to Scotland (Laurinburg, NC).

With the defeat, Marlboro County moves to 0-4 on the year. The Bulldogs host Marion (Marion, SC) to face the Swamp Foxes in a non-league game on Friday, December 15. The Swamp Foxes enter the game with a record of 1-4.
